Prendergast was head of A. C. Prendergast & Company with offices in the Republic Bank Building. He lived at 3612 Amherst.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the George A. Brewer Funeral Chapel, 3603 Ross, with Dr. James E. Detweiler officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Albert C. Prendergast Jr., and a daughter, Mrs. James A. Cullum, all of Dallas; three sisters, Mrs. Ashley Skinner of San Antonio, Mrs. Stella Wren of New York City, and Mrs. Roger Hilsman, San Francisco, Calif., and five grandchildren. - Lillian Prendergast died on 9 January 1970 at age 91 in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
- She was interred at Oakwood Cemetery, Waco, McLennan County, Texas.
- The following appeared on 11 January 1970 in the San Antonio Light: Mrs. Lillian Prendergast Skinner, age 91, of 145 John Page Dr., died Friday at a local hospital. She was a member of Madison Square Presbyterian Church, Allrosa Club, and was former secretary of the YWCA in Waco, Texas. Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. John C. (Beth) Carmichael, San Antonio; sisters Mrs. Roger Hilsman Sr., San Francisco, Mrs. Stella Wrenn, New York, N.Y; niece, Mrs. Jim Cullum Sr., San Antonio; nephew, Dr. Roger Hilsman Jr., New York, N.Y. Service Monday at 10 o'clock n the Colonial Chapel of the Porter Loring Mortuary, the Rev. William P. Caldwell officiating. Following the service here, the body will be taken to Waco, Texas, for graveside service and interment at 4 o'clock at the Oakwood Cemetery. Directiion by Porter Loring, McCullough at Elmira.
