         Mr. Schultz was born April 23, 1878, in Posen, Germany. He was the son of Frederick and Matilda (Pillat) Schultz and had been a resident of this county for 67 years. On September 21, 1899, in this city, he was married to Elizabeth Schultz, who preceded him in death.
         Surviving are a son, Emil C. Schultz, Potts Town, Pa; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Shepherd, LaPorte, and Mrs. Clara Keithl[e]y, Michigan City.
