- Mary Keithley was born on 2 October 1828 in Ralls County, Kentucky, or possibly 10 October.
- She married Allen Alexander, son of James Alexander and Margaret Musick, on 27 September 1843 in Ralls County, Missouri, with the bride's father present iand consenting thereto, and George Waters, Elder in the Church of Christ, officiating. Allen's sister Mary married Mary's brother Edwin, and his father's second wife was Mary's sister Martha.
- Allen Alexander and Mary Keithley appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in Ralls County, Missouri, living nearby his father James and his sister Mary Ellen Keithley and her husband Edwin, brother of his wife Mary.. Other members of the household included Nancy J. Alexander and Louisa Alexander.
- Mary Keithley became a widow at the 27 October 1854 death of her husband Allen Alexander.
- She married Jonathan Dickey circa 1858, and apparently divorced shortly thereafter.
- She married John Krigbaum on 15 February 1861.
- Mary Keithley died on 17 September 1902 at age 73 in Ralls County, Missouri.
- She was interred at Olivet Cemetery, Center, Ralls County, Missouri.
