- Mildred Essen Goodman was born on 15 July 1923 in Navasota, Grimes County, Texas.
- Charles Alexander Goodman and Wyatt Brown appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1940 in Grimes County, Texas, at Highway 106. Other members of the household included Mildred Essen Goodman. Also in the household were children James Richard (age 15), Charles D. (10), Robert P. (7) and Laurence P. (5.)

- The following appeared on 14 October 1965 in The Navasota Examiner: Funeral services for Charles A. Goodman, age 79, a long-time resident of Navasota, were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, from the chapel of the Lindley-Robertson Funeral Home of Navasota.
The Rev. Raymond Drews, pastor of the Memorial Baptist Church of Navasota, officiated. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Goodman passed away at 8:50 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 10, at the Grimes Memorial Convelescent Home in Navasota. He has been a Navasota resident for the past 47 years.
Mr. Goodman was born March 21, 1886 in Bowie County, the son of Julia Miller and George Robert Goodman.
He was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church and the H. L. Stewart Lodge No. 98, I. O. O. F. He was a retired carpenter at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Charles A. Goodman of Navasota; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wyatt Xzinasi of Beaumont and Mrs. Mildred Beasley [sic] of Scott, La; four sons, Richard Goodman of Navasota, Charles D. Goodman of Columbus, Robert Goodman of Vidor and Philip Goodman of Beaumont; one sister, Mrs. S. P. Williams of Farmington, New Meico; along with 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Paul Scrivener, Lee G. Scrivener, John F. Thomas, O. V. Brooks, W. E. Gibson and Robert Davis, all of Navasota. - The SSDI lists Orange, Orange County, Texas, as the last residence of record of Mildred Essen Goodman.
- Her husband Robert Chester Easley became a widower at her death.
- Mildred Essen Goodman died on 5 June 2002 at age 78 in Orange, Orange County, Texas, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital.
- She was interred at Claybar Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Orange, Orange County, Texas.
- The following appeared in a local newspaper: Mildred E. Easley, 78, of West Orange, died Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Memorial Hermann Baptist Orange Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 7, from Claybar Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. R.C. Hammock, Chaplain of Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Orange will officiate. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. today in the funeral home, to last until service time.
Born in Navasota, Texas, on July 15, 1923, to Charles and Wyatt Goodman, Mrs. Easley had lived in West Orange for the past 15 years where she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Easley, and one daughter, Jo Fite and husband, Bill, all of Orange; three brothers, Charles Goodman of Jasper, Robert Goodman of Taylor, Ark., and Phillip Goodman of Navasota; granddaughter, Sheila Stelly and husband, Mike; and grandson, Kyle Fite, and three great-grandchildren, Brooke Stelly, Kelsey Stelly and Conner Stelly.
