         Mrs. Rucker was born in Chaves County, N.M., and had lived in Fort Worth since 1947.
         Survivors: Son, Gail Rucker of Azle; four daughters, Helen Harris of Springtown, Ellen Dashney of Portland, Ore., and Ivy Wharton and Judy Thompson, both of Fort Worth; brother, Martin Harrell of Texas; two sisters, Carrie Pults of Pueblo, Colo., and Ruth Bilbrey of Fort Worth; companion, Roy Rucker of Fort Worth; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

         Mr. Rucker was born Aug. 31, 1914, in Mineral Wells. He was a World War II Army veteran. He worked as a carpenter for 50 years. He was a life member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America.
         He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie H. Rucker, in June 1994.
         Survivors: Son, Roy Gail Rucker of Azle; daughters, Helen Tavener of Haltom City, Ellen Belleville of Portland, Ore., Judy Thompson of Fort Worth and Ivy Worton of Fort Worth; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
