Mrs. Braswell was born in Bladen County, N. C., a daughter of the late Lee Johnson and Emma Carroll Johnson. She was a member of the Andrews Baptist Church. She was an employe of the Andrews Bank and Trust Co. until after her retirement. She was married twice, first to the late Samuel Richardson and second to the late William Carl Braswell.
Surviving are: two step-daughters, Miss Harriett Braswell, Mrs. John Weaver, both of Jacksonville, Fla; a sister, Mrs. Betty Watts of Parkton, N. C.
