  • The following appeared on 16 April 1943 in The Saginaw News: Robert R. Forner, 51, brother-in-law of Mark T. Davis, died Friday at Mt. Carmel Mercy hospital, Detroit. Mr. Forner was principal of Logan school, Detroit, and made his home at 17593 Pennington Drive. He married Lorena Mae Davis in Saginaw, Oct. 22, 1919. Mrs. Forner died Aug. 13, 1942. He leaves two daughters, Betty Maxine, a teacher in the Detroit schools, Marjorie Marie, and a son Vincent T., a medical student at the University of St. Louis; his mother, a sister, and three brothers, all of Jackson. He was a graduate of Ferris Institute, Michigan State Normal college and received his master's degree at the University of Detroit. He was a district governor of the Exchange club, and a member of Gesu Catholic parish at Detroit.
  • He married Anita Lucille Denton, daughter of Dewitt T. Denton and Roberta Ann Spencer, on 13 August 1949 in Jackson, Jackson County, Michigan.
