Mrs. Pegues caught her marlin, a 129 pounder, on 30 pound monofiliment and a live anchovy. Pegues Jr., 43, of 2553 Albatross St., will be held at 9:20 a.m. today in Ft. Rosecrans National Cemetery. Greenwood Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Pegues, a San Diego Transit System bus driver for 18 years, died Wednesday in a hospital. He was a pharmacist's mate in the Navy during World War II.
Survivors are his father, Calvin W. Sr; his mother, Mrs. Eileen Pegues, and two sisters, Mrs. Robin Roberts and Mrs. Jo Robbins, all of San Diego. - Eileen Bell died on 28 July 1985 at age 88 in Lakeside, San Diego County, California, at her residence.
- The following appeared on 30 July 1985 in the San Diego Evening Tribune: Graveside services for Eileen B. Pegues, 88, of Lakeside, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Lakeside-Santee Funeral Chapel is in charge. She died Sunday in her home.
Mrs. Pegues was born in Texas and lived in the county 44 years. She was a Convair assembler-riveter for 15 years and she was a member of the San Miguel Begonia Society of San Diego, the San Diego Fuchsia Club and the Red Factor Canary Bird Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Robin Roberts of Lemon Grove and Josephine Carroll of Lakeside; one brother, Merl Bell, and a sister, Maurita Wilson, both of New Mexico; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. - She was interred at Greenwood Memorial Park, San Diego, California.
