Other members of the household included Mary Allise Pegues, Olive Hortense Pegues, Ione Perry Pegues, Varina Overton Pegues and Albert B. Pegues. Also in the household was one female domestic servant.

- The following appeared on 8 June 1942 in The Dallas Morning News: H. LaRue Coleman, 50, of 5916 Swiss, manager of the Coleman Publishing Company, and Mrs. Athol L. Frew, 50, of 6938 Shook, were killed Sunday in an automobile collision near Forney in which Mrs. Coleman and Dr. Frew, prominent dentist, were injured.
The two couples were passengers in an automobile involved in a collision with a truck about 7 p.m. they were returning to Dallas after a fishing trip to Ferndale Club Lake near Pittsburg.
Dr. Frew and Mrs. Coleman were taken to a Terrell hospital. Both were seriously hurt but hospital attendants said their exact injuries had not been determined. Reports were that the driver of the truck was not injured.
Coleman is the son of Robert H. Coleman, assistant pastor of the First Baptist Church, who received word of the accident only a few minutes before he was to have led the singing for the Sunday night service at the church. He was born at Plano and had lived in Dallas for a number of years, being associated with his father in the Coleman Publishing Company.
He was secretary of the Knife and Fork Club, and was a 32d degree mason and a Shriner.
In addition to his wife and father he is survived by two daughters, Emma Jeane Coleman, Dallas; a son, Robert O. Coleman, now at an officers training camp for chemical warfare at Aberdeen, Md., and a sister, Mrs. D. T. Hamilton, Dallas. . . . - Mary Allise Pegues died on 20 June 1984 at age 89 in Dallas County, Texas.
- She was interred at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, Texas.
