         Visitation is 5-8 tonight at Newman Funeral Home in Centreville. Visitation continues at 10 a.m. Thursday at Centreville United Methodist Church, until services there at 11 a.m. The Rev. Willis Cochran will officiate. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery in Centreville.
         Mr. Carr was born Nov. 22, 1915, in Centreville. He was the son of James Gordon Carr Sr. and Minnie Perkins Carr. He was a member of Centreville United methodist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
         Survivors include his wife, Vivian T. Carr of Centreville; two sons, James Gordon Carr III of Terrell, Texas, and Timothy B. Carr Sr. of Summit; one daughter, Mary Lee Johnson of Brandon; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
         Pallbearers will be Andy Johnson, Todd Carr, Timothy Brooks Carr Jr., Russell Carr, Mike Daughdrill and Gene Walters.
