- He was interred at Pool Cemetery, Union Grove Baptist Church, Montgomery County, Texas.
- The following appeared in a local newspaper: Funeral service for Willie Tilman Gregg, 74 of Conroe, will be held in the Metcalf Chapel of the Pines Thursday, Oct. 7, 1965 at 2 P.M. with Rev G. M. Coe officiating.
Interment will follow in the Union Grove Cemetery with funeral arrangements under the direction of Metcalf Funeral Directors.
Mr. Gregg was a life long resident of Montgomery County. He was born in Montgomery County, July 9, 1891 and died Oct 5, 1965. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Pearl A. Gregg of Conroe; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Baseke of Conroe; Mrs. Verdell Spinks of Alvin; Mrs. Odell Brooks of Edna; Mrs. Elizabeth Kelley of Conroe; three sons, Bill & J. G. Gregg of Alvin, Texas and Charles M. Gregg of Conroe; one brother N. G. Gregg of Normangee, Texas , one sister Mrs. Jessie Stovall of Lufkin, 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
