       She was born July 4, 1907, in Heath Township, Pennsylvania, to the late Frank and Gertrude Gunckel Griffin. She has resided in Denver, Colorado, since 1993 and was a former long time resident of Sweeny, Texas.
       She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Anita Ward of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
       She was preceded in death by her husband, Olen Ward; and son, James Olen Ward.
