- She married Kenon Breazeale, son of Henry Breazeale and Sarah Elizabeth (?), circa 1788.
- Haskey Sarah Griffin died on 26 March 1829 in Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina.
- Her husband Kenon Breazeale became a widower at her death.
- The following appeared on 2 October 1911 in the State: (Belton, Oct. 1) There was a reunion of the descendants of Kenon and Haskie Breazeale in the opera house here yesterday, which was attended by about 150 or 200 people. Those who gathered for the occasion spent the day in a delightful and pleasant way, discussion the different branches of the family tree and relating reminiscences.
Kenon Breazeal was born in 1754 and died in 1858, being 104 years old. When a young man, during the Revolutionary war, he was a courier between Gens. Washington and Green, and while engaged in this work he met a Miss Haskie Griffin, whom he afterward married, and settled two miles northwest of Belton. From this union 10 or 12 children were born, and their descendants are now living in almost every State in the Union and number in the thousands.
It is the intention of those who met yesterday to hold a reunion next year and get all the historical facts possible about this family and their descendants.
