The bride was educated in the Gulfport city schools, graduated at Gulf Park College and studied at State Teachers College, Hattieburg. Mr. Berry is a special representative in the advertising department of the Times-Picayune of New Orleans. Out of town guests attending the wedding included: Miss Mary Maybin, maternal aunt of the bride, mr. and Mrs. Maybin Hewes, brother and sister-in-law of the bride, and mrs. E. C. Upton, sister of Mrs. Hewes, all of New Orleans. - Thomas Davis Berry Jr. and Deborah Bennett Hewes appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in Gulfport, Harrison County, Mississippi, at 614 East Beach Street.

Mrs. Berry was before her marriage Miss Deborah Hewes. Mr. Berry is connected with the New Orleans Times-Picayune.
