Betty Milner Van Hoose

- The following appeared in the Mobile Register: (Jackson) Betty Van Hoose Harrell, a native of McIntosh, Ala., and resident of Sunflower, Ala., died Thursday at a Mobile hospital. She was 88.
Survivors include two sons, Claude E. "Gene" Harrell III and Joseph James Harrell, both of Sunflower; a brother, Lee Van Hoose of Jackson; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Lathan Funeral Home at Highway 43 Bypass in Jackson and at Sunflower United Methodist Church for one hour prior to the 11 a.m. funeral Saturday. Burial will be in the Harris Family Cemetery. - Betty Milner Van Hoose was born on 5 August 1914.
