William Gains Twyman

William Gains Twyman was born in May 1867 in Virginia.
He married Mary Ann Fox, daughter of Henry Samuel Fox and Lena M. Gohlman, on 22 October 1896.
The following appeared in the November 1896 issue of The Vassar Miscellany: Married, October 22, Miss Mamie Fox, formerly a special in music, to Mr. William Gains Twyman.
Henry Samuel Fox and Lenora Harby appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in Houston, Harris County, Texas, at 1206 Southwest Main Street. Other members of the household included William Gains Twyman, Gladys Louise Fox and Mary Ann Fox. Also in the household were a coachman, cook, maid, and aother young male servant.
He was a traveling salesman, according to the 1900 census.
He was interred at Glenwood Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Virginia.
At the time of his death, his usual residence was in Houston, Harris County, Virginia, at 1520 Allston Street.
His wife Mary Ann Fox became a widow at his death.
William Gains Twyman died on 31 January 1925 at age 57 in Houston, Harris County, Virginia, at the Baptist Sanatorium . His death was officially witnessed by Mary Ann Fox.
