James Asbury Pace

James Asbury Pace was born on 9 August 1853 in Marshall County, Kentucky.
He married Elizabeth Ellen Borders, daughter of William H. Borders and Louisa Jane Ellen Harrison, on 5 October 1879 in Marshall County, Kentucky.
William H. Borders and Louisa Jane Ellen Harrison appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Darnell Precinct, Marshall County, Kentucky. Other members of the household included James Asbury Pace, John Lundy Borders, Augustus Harrison Borders, Elizabeth Ellen Borders and Sarah Ann Elizabeth Harrison.
He was working on the farm, according to the 1880 census.
His wife Elizabeth Ellen Borders became a widow at his death.
James Asbury Pace died on 14 January 1929 at age 75 in Murray, Calloway County, Kentucky.
He was interred at Wadesboro Cemetery, Marshall County, Kentucky.
