         Mrs. Bridges, daughter of the late Rev. Bob Gage, Sr. and Carrie Pegues Murphy, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 in the Springs Memorial Hospital, Lancaster. She was born in Conway, SC. She was a graduate of Winthrop College, a member of Salem United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was leader of the U.M.Y.F., and also held offices and served on various committees.
         The family will receive friends Monday, May 17, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm at Baker Funeral Home, 210 E. Hilton Street, Kershaw, SC.
         Surviving are her two sons, C. Kenneth Bridges, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and David M. Bridges of Columbia, SC. Mrs. Bridges was predeceased by her husband, C. Kenneth Bridges, Sr.
