Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Rector Funeral Home Coulter Chapel, 8310 S. Coulter St., with the Rev. John H. Elser, chaplain of Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center, officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Walker was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Wellington. He served in the Army during World War II, where he received a Purple Heart after being injured in St. Loe, France.
He married Cloetiell Pace 64 years ago in Hereford.
Mr. Walker was a member of First Baptist Church, the Masonic Lodge, the Second (Indian Head) Division Association, VFW Post No. 1475 and a life member of the DAV.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Terry Diane Walker of Cheyenne, Wyo; two sons, Donald Walker and wife Mary Beth of Lubbock and Dwain O. Walker and his Susan of Weatherford; and three grandchildren, Becca, Christopher and Clay.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
