         A chapel service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Myers Chapel, with the Rev. Henry Toews of Arroyo Grande officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
         Mrs. Gamble was born in Wellington, Texas. She was a resident of Porterville for 56 years and a homemaker for 60 years. She owned and operated GW Chevrolet for 45 years. She was president of the Emblem Club and the Garden Club. She volunteered time to the Heart Association and Cancer Society.
         Survivors include two nephews.
         She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Gamble.
         Memorial contributions can be made to donor's favorite charity.
         Arrangements are under the direction of Myers Funeral Service.
