- The following appeared on 26 February 1968 in The Advocate: (Newark, Ohio) Funeral services will be at 10:30 a m Wednesday in the chapel of Criss Brothers Funeral Home for Izora L. MacNealy, 64, of 170 Neal Ave. The Rev. James Foster will officiate, with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. MacNealy died Saturday evening in her home.
She was born May 6, 1903 in Moxahala to Perle and Louisa Bozman Kocher.
At one time, she had been employed by the Wilma Shop and later at Reed Realty. She was a member of the Real Estate Association and Royal Neighbors.
Surviving are her husband, Herbert F. of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Jane Ballinger of Columbus; two brothers: Clarence Kocher of Buckeye Lake and Rolland Kocher of Shelby; five sisters: Mrs. John Healy, Mrs. Warren Stage and Mrs. Layland Grove, all of Newark; Mrs. John Mitchell of Buckeye Lake and Mrs. Wilfred Teal of Moxahala and two grandchildren. One sister is dead.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 this evening and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. Tuesday in the funeral home. - The following appeared on 6 April 1971 in The Advocate: Mr. and Mrs. Donald Stage have returned to Long Beach, Calif., after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Stage, 578 N. 11th St. His father and his aunt, Mrs. Mary Groves, are patients in Newark Convalescent and Nursing Inn. While he was here, a family reunion was held in the Stage home, attended by: Mr. ahnd Mrs. Rollin Kocher of shelby, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kocher and Mrs. Grace Mitchell of Buckeye Lake. Mrs. Anna Teal of Moxahala, Mrs. Myrtle Peterman and Mrs. Isabel Healy of Newark, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jones of Coshocton. Don started his business career in Newark with Sears, Roebuck and Co. 35 years ago, and was transferred to California.
- Lena Olive Kocher died on 27 July 1972 at age 83 in Licking County, Ohio.
- She was interred at Wilson Cemetery, Newark, Licking County, Ohio.
- The following appeared on 28 July 1972 in The Advocate: Olive L. Stage. Services for Olive L. Stage, 83, of 578 N. 11th St., will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Criss Brothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert E. Kleesattel officiating and burial in Wilson Cemetery.
Mrs. Stage died Thursday in the hospital. She was born Olive L. Kocher Dec. 23, 1888, in Moxahala.
She was a member of Central Church of Christ, Royal Neighbors and LKK Club of Newark.
Survivors include her husband, Warren N. of the home; two sons, Clarence of Newark and Donald of Long Beach, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Jones of Coshocton; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Grove of Newark, Mrs. Grace Mitchell of Buckeye Lake and Mrs. Isabelle Healy of Newark; two brothers, Clarence Kocher of Buckeye and Rollin Kocher of Shelby; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
