  • Were Samuel Duncan Campbell and Samuel D. Campbell the same person? It would appear so, and the fact that two brothers of Samuel D. also were physicians is persuasive, but Ann Campbell did not mention him in her 1871 draft letter to her cousin George McWhorter (?)
