  • While a number of researchers have published the following dates, it is unlikely that Susannah died on 3 May 1832, that Victoria was born (to either Susanna or Elizabeth) on 29 May 1832, and that James and Elizabeth married on 9 August 1832. One or more of these dates must be in error.
  • She married James Towler Whitfield, son of William Whitfield and Mary Towler, circa 1832.
  • (?) Elizabeth Robertson became a widow at the 14 April 1850 death of her husband James Towler Whitfield.
  • (?) Elizabeth Robertson appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in Person County, North Carolina, living near her husband's sons James, William and Thomas.
