She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday Feb. 6, 2007, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be Wednesday Feb. 7, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor James Featherstone officiating assisted by the Rev. Joe Corley. Sam Park will be in charge of music. Pallbearers will be: Bill Royal, John Royal, Robert Royal, Nathan Park, Kenny Coleman, and Bruce Fulenwider. Burial service will be at Pine Valley Cemetery approximately 13 miles East of New Waverly, Texas.
Our family would like to thank all the nurses, aids, housekeeping, kitchen personnel and office staff for the love and care they gave our mother during her stay at Ella Smithers. We would like to extend a special thank you to Augusta Ray Goodrum for the thoughtful treats she brought Mom to comfort her during her stay at Ella Smithers.
