He was of the Presbyterian faith. Survivors include: two sons, John C. Gantt of Carrollton and William Bowen "Bo" Gantt of Watkinsville; a daughter, Teresa Gantt Butler; and six grandchildren. The body has been cremated. Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
