         Out of town guests who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jackson and children of Alamogordo, N. M; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kemp and Mary Louise of Fort Worth; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Burke of Kerrville and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fitzpatrick of Houston.
         The couple received many nice gifts and had a very enjoyable day spent in visiting with old friends and relatives and playing games in the afternoon.
         Mr. and Mrs. Jackson was married Feb. 14, 1918 in the home of Mrs. Jackson's sister, Mrs. Kemp of Fort Worth, by Rev. W. W. Rivers, a Baptist minister.
         Mrs. Jackson is the former Dixie Jones, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Jones of San Saba. Jackson, who is a retired painter, was born in San Saba County to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Jackson, and has lived most of his life in San Saba. Mrs. Jackson also has lived in San Saba for many years. They are members of the Methodist Church.
         The couple have two living children, Paul Jackson of Alamogordo, N. M. and Mrs. Raymond (Nellie Belle) Felts of Hollywood, Calif. Their oldest son, George, died in 1938. They have seven grandchildren and four great grandsons.

         Mr. Jackson was dead on arrival at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday in San Saba Memorial Hospital.
         Born Nov. 1, 1896 in San Saba County, he married Dixie Mae Jones Feb. 14, 1914 at Fort Worth.
         A lifelong resident of San Saba County and a Methodist, he was a retired mechanic.
         Survivors include his wife; one son, Paul Jackson of Alamogordo, N.M; one daughter, Mrs. Nellie Belle Johnson of California; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
