- Austin S. Park was born circa 1821 in New Jersey.
- Albert George Park and Austin S. Park appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1850 in Montgomery County, Alabama. Albert also was enumerated as an artist in 1850 in New York City. It is not clear whether Sarah Park (born about 1823 in New Jersey) and Albert H. Park (born about 1849 in New Jersey) were wife and child of Albert or Austin, and none of them has yet been found in subsequent censuses. Enumerated with them was artist E. T. Billings.
