- Robert Moore, apparently no close kin to Elizabeth's mother, likely was married first to Mary Drur(e)y (Caswell County marriage bond 24 May 1780), having children John Drury and Susannah Moore. Children of Elizabeth and Robert Moore included Robert, Joseph, Alexander, Sarah Ivey, Elizabeth, Thomas McGehee, and Ann McGehee Moore.
- Elizabeth McGehee became a widow at the 13 February 1816 death of her husband Robert Moore.
- Elizabeth McGehee died on 21 February 1852 at age 82 in Person County, North Carolina.
