- The following appeared on 28 December 1922 in The Macon Daily Telegraph: Mrs. Pitt Glover, of Birmingham, nee Miss Haidee McKenzie, died early Wednesday morning at the home of her mother, Mrs. T. R. McKenzie, in Montezuma, after a brief illness with pneumonia. She was the only daughter of the late T. R. McKenzie, of Montezuma. Mrs. Glover drove over with Mr. Glover Sunday and was stricken while en route, but was not seriously ill until Tuesday when a complication of the heart with pneumonia caused her death. /P/ Macon people will be interested because Mr. Glover was for many years a prominent young business man of Macon, moving to Hawkinsville just prior to his marriage. /P/ Mrs. Glover as Miss Haidee McKenzie was one of Montezuma's most beloved girls and her sudden death has cast a gloom over the town. She was a gifted musician, having graduated from Wesleyan and Brenau with honors in piano and pipe organ and was a member of Phi Mu Sorority. She is survived by her husband, two brothers, E. M. McKenzie, of Macon, and T. H. McKenzie, and her mother, Mrs. T. R. McKenzie, of Montezuma; sister-in-law, Mrs. W. L. McKenzie; nephew, Clovis McKenzie of Macon; aunt, Mrs. Cliff Brewton, of Atlanta, besides a large number of close relatives in the McKenzie family. /P/ The funeral services will be conducted from the family residence Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock. Interment will be in the Montezuma cemetery.
