Mrs. Walkley also held various positions in AFWC Third District, Alabama Clubwoman Editor, Woman's Club of Birmingham, Music Club, Women's Committee of 100, National League of American Pen Women, Antiques and Allied Arts, and Camp Winnataska. She was the widow of James E. Walkley and is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Katheryn and Gene Gammill, Canton, GA and Ann and Johnny McCandless, Melbourne, FL; grandchildren, Charles and Christi Ingrum and Julia and Anthony Brown, Auburn, AL; great-grandchildren, Tripp and Eli Ingrum and Tyler, Katie, Connor and Abbie Brown, Auburn, AL; and sister, Elizabeth S. Seastone, Englewood, FL. Her graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2007 at Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Woman's Missionary Union Foundation's Vision Fund. . . or The Salvation Army. . .
