Graveside services will be held at 2pm Wednesday, February 11 at Oakwood Cemetery with Rev. Art Torpy officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6pm Tuesday, February 10 at her residence.
Mrs. Adams was born in Lockhart, Texas [on 6 April 1913] and lived all of her adult life in Waco. She was married to George F. Adams from 1938 until his death in 1974. Bess loved flowers, country music and most of all, her many friends. P/ Survivors include daughter, Memie Hardie of Fort Worth; grandsons, Peter Hardie of Santa Barbara, California and David Hardie of Orlando, Florida; nieces, Sharon Mansfield of Waco and Linda Fulenwider of Big Sandy; and her best friend, Frances Adams of Waco.
The family extends a special thanks to her caretakers, Elsie Benson and Edna Moore whose loyalty enabled her to remain in her home during the last years of her life. . . .
