While living in Houston she had served as President of the Houston Music Guild and also served on the Board of Houston Grand Opera Association. She was preceded in death by brothers James Clifford Crutchfield, Jr. and John David Crutchfield. She is survived by brothers Paul Crutchfield and wife Ruth and by King Crutchfield and wife Doris. She is also survived by sister-in-law Bernice Crutchfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
