• Robert Alexander Nisbet was born on 20 March 1848 in Russell County, Alabama.
• He married Florence Bloom, daughter of Thurston Rowland Bloom and Anne E. Fluker, on 26 September 1871 in Bibb County, Georgia.
• Robert Alexander Nisbet became a widower at the circa September 1872 death of his wife Florence Bloom.
• The following appeared on 15 October 1872 in the Georgia Weekly Telegraph: Whereas, Robert A. Nisbet applies to the undersigned for letters of administration upon the estate of Florence Bloom Nisbet, late of said county, deceased. All persons interested are required to be and appear at the Court of Ordinary on the 1st day of November next to show cause, if any they have, why letters should not be granted the applicant. Given under my hand officially. C. T. Ward, Ordinary.

• The following appeared on 10 April 1888 in The Macon Telegraph: By virtue of an order granted by the Honorable the Ordinary of Bibb county, Ga., I will sell before the court house door in Macon Ga., during the legal hours of sale, on Tuesday, the first day of May, 1888, to the highest bidder, one undivided half interest in and to the following lots or parcels of land, to-wit: Blocks numbers 15, 27, 42, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72 and 73, each of said blocks containing five acres, more or less, and lying within the corporate limits of the city of Brunswick, Glynn county, Ga., as will appear on a map of the lands of Chas. Day and Mrs. Annie E. Broom, [sic], as made from a survey of said land by Albert Ayres, in January, 1870. And also that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the city of Brunswick, and represented on the same map and survey by the following metes and bounds: Bounded on the East by Cockrane avenue, on the south by Roswel King's line of Town Commons, which separates said lot or parcel of land from lots owned by the Brunswick Land company, on the West by Albany street, and on the North by First street. Said property belonging to the estate of Florence B. Nisbet, deceased, and sold for the purposes of distribution. Terms Cash. Robt. A. Nisbet, Admr. Estate of Florence B. Nisbet, dec'd.
• The following appeared on 26 November 1911 in The Macon Daily Telegraph (Real Estate Transfers): Robert A. Nisbet to Florence Nisbet Chambers, one square acre from northeast corner of land lot 100, $5, love and affection.
• Robert Alexander Nisbet died on 4 May 1919 at age 71 in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia.
