Hall, in the 87th year of her age. Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Robert Stringfellow. She has been a resident of this place for more than 73 years. Her sons H. B. Hall, M. C. Hall, Robert Hall, F. S. Hall and daughters Mrs. J. S. Gillespie, of West Virginia, and Mrs. Julia Henry, of Halifax, were present at the funeral.
       The funeral took place from St. George's Episcopal church of which she was a member for many years, at 11 o'clock yesterday, Monday, Rev. J. K. Mason, officiating, attended by a large number of friends. The remains were buried in the city cemetery.
       Active pall bearers--James S. Knox, C. W. Wallace, A. K. Phillips, Jr., A. D. Tapscott, Judge A. W. Wallace and W. S. Parkinson.
       Honorary--John L. Marye, Wm. A. Little, Hugh S. Doggett, E. M. Braxton and Dr. H. M. D. Martin.
