- The following appeared on 15 November 1930 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: The funeral services of the late Nathan H. Cutler, 51, of Getzville, was held from St. Paul's church on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Vogelmann officiating. The bearers were six members of the Getzville fire company of Mr. Cutler was a member and former chief and the casket was preceded into the church by about 50 fellow members of the company. Burial was in Bear Ridge cemetery. Mr. Cutler died in a Buffalo hospital on Monday, following a two weeks' illness there. Mr. Cutler leaves his widow, Carrie Wagner Cutler, four daughters and two sons of Getzville.
