- Wilhelm Dexheimer was born circa 1809 in Hessen.
- Jacob Dexheimer and Catharina Hock arrived in the Port of New York on 13 May 1842, accompanied by Wilhelm Dexheimer, Henry Gerlach, Anna Jung, Anton Dexheimer and Philippe Koehler aboard the Havre Packet Ship Louis Philippe, identified as Jacque Dexheimer, age 24. [It is our hope to identify his fellow Rheinhessen emigrants, and to discover how they are connected.]
