Miller, age 91, of North Tonawanda, N.Y., passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2009, at Williamsville View Manor in Amherst. /P/ Born in Ephrata, Pa., he had been a resident of North Tonawanda for 30 years and was the husband of Pearl F. (nee Ashelman) Miller who died in 2007. He received his bachelor of arts degree from the University of Buffalo and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in France and Germany. Richard had been employed as a field representative for the Social Security Administration in Buffalo, retiring in 1979. He was a member of St. Bartholomew Anglican Church. A longtime amateur magician, he was a retired member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. /P/ He is survived by four children, Charles (Amy) Miller of Waldwick, N.J., Pamela (Paul) Nabors of Enfield, Elizabeth Miller and Barbara (Kevin) Conlan of North Tonawanda, and was also a father to Karen Eggert of North Tonawanda; eight grandchildren, Christina Miller, Aubrey (Gary) Webb, Jessica Miller, Richard Walsh IV, Margaret Walsh, Sean Conlan, Leslie Conlan, and Sabrina Eggert; two great-grandsons, Joseph Reynolds and Anthony Webb; and a nephew, Maurice (Sue) Little. /P/ Friends may call Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at John O.
