Born in Buffalo, she had been a resident of North Tonawanda for the past 20 years and retired as a supervisor for the Social Security Administration in Niagara Falls in 1981. She was a member of St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in the Town of Tonawanda, serving as a member of the Altar Guild for many years and was a member of the Bible Study Group. She was also an avid bowler in many bowling leagues.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard G. Miller; four children, Charles (Amy) Miller of Waldwick, N.J., Pamela (Paul) Nabors of Enfield, Elizabeth "Betsy" Miller and Barbara (Kevin) Conlan, both of North Tonawanda; seven grandchildren, Christina, Aubrey and Jessica Miller, Richard and Margaret Walsh, Sean and Leslie Conlan; two great-grandsons, Joseph Reynolds and Anthony Webb; a nephew, Maurice (Sue) Little of Buffalo; and was the sister of the late Kenneth Ashelman. She was also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at John O. Roth Funeral Home, Inc., 25 William St. (between Morgan and Broad Sts.) in Tonawanda, New York.
Funeral services will be held in St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, 1088 Brighton Road in Town of Tonawanda, New York, Wednesday at 11 a.m. Friends are invited. The Rev. Arthur Ward, Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery.
