• The following appeared on 18 August 1937 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: Funeral services for Harry Joseph Boos, 58 years old, of 203 Fifth street . . . will be held at the family home at 2 p.m. tomorrow with the Rev. A. C. Van Raalte officiating. Burial will be in Riverdale cemetery.
       . . . Mr. Boos, who was an employe of the Union Carbide company, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olive Ethel Boos; three daughters, Mrs. Charles Corson, Betty Jane Boos and Beverley Clarice Boos, and two sons, Harold Murray and Carl Gordon Boos, all of this city; a sister, Mrs. Carl Schoenbeck, of this city, and two brothers, Charles Boos, of this city, and Walter Boos, in Seattle.
• The following appeared on 11 August 1951 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: In loving memory of our husband and father, Harry J. Boos, who passed away 14 years ago tomorrow, August 12, 1937.
