- The following appeared in the Wyoming County Times: Mrs. Bertha F. Geise, 76, of 85 East Ave., Attica, died in Wyoming County Community Hospital, Warsaw, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 5, 1972. Death followed a lengthy illness. Mrs. Geise was born at Attica Aug. 30, 1896, a daughter of George and Katherine Knab Schaub. Mrs. Geise was a member of Harder-O'Donnell Post No. 734, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her husband Leo L. Geise and a sister Mrs. Robert (Kathryn) Timm of Attica; several nieces and nephews. Services were held at the Marley Funeral Home in Attica on Sunday, Oct. 8 with the Rev. Willard S. Thomas, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica.
