Anderson, who was born in Buffalo, died Monday (July 3, 2000) after he was stricken at home. He was pronounced dead in Millard Fillmore Hospital. He was a graduate of Williamsville High School and had worked in the petroleum products and trucking businesses for 35 years. Anderson, who was known for his contributions to many organizations and causes, was an exempt member of Swormville Fire Company. His hobbies included antique cars.Survivors include his wife, the former Diane L. Walczak; three sons, William F. Jr. and Todd M., both of Pendleton, and Shawn N. of Clarence Center; his parents, J. William and Margaret of Getzville; a brother, Robert N. of East Amherst; and five grandchildren.
