• Mother: Christina Burkhart b. 9 July 1800, d. 22 October 1846

• Georg Schlenk was born on 11 September 1832 in Machtolsheim, Württemberg.
• He married Apollonia Haueisen, daughter of Matthaeus Haueisen and Ursula Nusslin, on 25 January 1858 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at Zion Lutheran Church The marriage was witnessed by George W. Burkhardt.
• The Schlenk family has yet to be found in 1860.
• Georg Schlenk and Apollonia Haueisen, appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1870 in Warsaw, Hancock County, Illinois. Other members of the household included Matthaeus Schlenk, Christine Schlenk, Ursula Schlenk, George Schlenk, Jacob Philip Schlenk, Matthaeus Haueisen, Philipp Jacob Haueisen and Mary Schlenk. Mary Schlenk, age 15, may have a niece, or possibly an adopted daughter.
• He was a farmer, according to the 1870 census.
• Georg Schlenk and Apollonia Haueisen appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1880 in Walker Township, Hancock County, Illinois. Other members of the household included Ursula Schlenk, George Schlenk, Jacob Philip Schlenk, Caroline Schlenk, J. Adam Schlenk and Matthaeus Haueisen. Apparently young George is enumerated as George, age 15, and G. Louis, age 16, or possibly they may have been two different children.
• He was a carpenter, according to the 1880 census.
• Georg Schlenk and Apollonia Haueisen appeared in the US federal census of 1 June 1900 in Walker Township, Illinois, and also Jacob D. "Hensie," born Sept 1885, age 14, at school, born in Illinois, father and mother born Illinois, probably a Haueise relative.. Other members of the household included Caroline Schlenk.
• He was a farmer, according to the 1900 census.
• Georg Schlenk died on 27 February 1910 at age 77 ?in Tioga County, Pennsylvania?
• Apollonia Haueisen became a widower at the 27 February 1910 death of his wife.
