Several Gloversville and Johnstown relatives and friends attended. The account of the wedding, published in the Oneonta Star of Monday, will be of interest here and follows:
Miss Helen Janet Ormiston, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Keith E. Ormiston of 45 Fairview street, became the bride of Milton John Bundy, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Bundy of Angola, Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
Rev. Boyd McCleary, D. D., performed the ceremony, which took place in the First Presbyterian Church, where a tasteful arrangement of ferns, daisies and white hydrangeas made a charming setting for the event. The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Miss Katherine L. Dann of this city was the maid of honor, and the two bridesmaids were Miss Alice Farrant of Johnstown and Miss Margaret Davis of Oswego.
Lewis A. Nealy of Monticello acted as best man. Philip E. Potter of Oneonta, Robert R. Folsom of Newark, N. J., and Leo A. Meldrum of Cortland were the ushers.
The bride was charmingly gowned in white mousseline de soie, and carried a shower bouquet of white roses and swansonia.
Her maid of honor wore yellow mousseline de soie. Miss Farrant's gown was peach colored and Miss Davis's was green, both being of the same material as those of Miss Ormiston and Miss Dann. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore white hats trimmed with velvet bands matching their gowns. Each carried an arm bouquet of pink and yellow roses, delphiniums and African daisies.
While the guests were assembling a delightful program of organ music was played by Mrs. David H. Mills. Just before the ceremony, Mrs. James H. Thomas sang in a pleasing manner two selecttions, "Because," and "I Love You Truly." Mrs. Mills played the "Bridal Chorus" from Lohengrin, as a prosessional and during the ceremony, and Mendelssohn's "Wedding March" as a recessional.
Relatives and intimate friends of the couple were entertained after the ceremony at a reception at the home of the bride's parents.
Mr. and Mrs. Bundy left on a wedding journey to Maine and other New England states. On their return they will make their home in Huntington, L. I., where Mr. Bundy is physical director in the public schools. Mrs. Bundy also has taught at Huntington.
Mr. Bundy is a graduate of Cortland Normal School and New York University and is a member of Theta Phi Epsilon and Delta Chi fraternities. His wife graduated from Oneonta High School and Oneonta State Normal School.
