- Clarence Davis was born on 28 October 1912 in Texas.
- Amos Davis and Lue Ella Williams appeared in the US federal census of 1 January 1920 in DeWitt County, Texas, at Upper Clinton Road enumerated near the household of Lue Ella's mother Maggie King. Other members of the household included Clarence Davis, William Davis, Ray Albert Davis, Augusta Mae Davis and Cornell Davis.

- He married Hazel Revada, daughter of Walter Revada and Eula Sneed, in December 1950.
- He officially witnessed the death of Estella Davis on 16 March 1968 at Saint Benedict Hospital in San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
- Mr. R. A. Davis was born to the union of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Davis in Cuero, Texas. He was converted at an early age and joined Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, Cuero, Texas.
Mr. Davis met and married Miss Forest Parks in 1936 and to this union three children were born, his son preceded him in death.
Bro. Davis served as a Deacon for 31 years. Upon moving to Corpus Christi he united with the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, St. Metthew Church and Calvary First Baptist Church where he served 21 years until his health failed him.
Survivors are: his wife; his mother, Mrs. Louella Davis of Austin, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Mosley of Kingsville, Texas, and Mrs. Alice Sanders of Wichita, Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. Mattie Steens of Austin, Texas, Mrs. Emma Hill of Ft. Worth, Mrs. Estella White, Mrs. Mildred Cox; three brothers, William, Clarence and Cornell Davis all of San Antonio; four grandsons and a host of relatives and friends. - Clarence Davis died on 5 March 1990 at age 77 in Bexar County, Texas.
- Hazel Revada became a widow at his death.
- He was interred at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas.
- The following was published in Hazel Revada Davis' funeral program: Mrs. Hazel Revada Davis, the oldest daughter of Walter and Eula Revada, lived a productive life that began on March 1, 1915 in Austin, Texas. She was affectionately called by her father "Masie". The family later moved to Brady, Texas. At the young age of eight she professed a belief in Christ and was baptized in a Holiness Church by Rev. Alexander. She moved to San Antonio to attend St. Philips Sewing School in 1949 and later worked as a seamstress. She was her class president of the Singer Sewing School and the president of the usher board in her hometown church. She met and later married Clarence Davis on December 1950. She was a devoted member of Second Baptist Church of San Antonio, Texas, for over forty years and a member of the Deborah Circle. There were three children born from the union - sons Charles Eugene Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Walter Erving Jordan-Davis of Plainsboro, New Jersey and daughter Claudette Elise Davis Floyd of San Antonio, Texas; as well as the son of Mr. Clarence Davis, her step son, Melvin Davis of Alexandria, Louisiana. All children survive their mother. Mr. Clarence Davis passed away in San Antonio, Texas on March 5, 1990. Mrs. Hazel Revada Davis, the first of five children, three brothers preceded her in death - J. N. Revada, Charles J. Revada and Walter E. Revada. She leaves to mourn a loving sister, Mary Jo Peterson and family, three children, two granddaughters, Jennifer Elisabeth Floyd and Veronica Rose Claire Jordan-Davis, one son-in-law Dr. Hilliard D. Floyd, one daughter-in-law Jacqueline R. Jordan-Davis and a stepson and his family. Mrs. Hazel Davis leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
