• The following appeared on 6 January 1926 in the Buffalo Evening News: Mrs. Frances Master Baker, 80 years old, wife of the late Lewis P. Baker, and sister-in-law of the Rt. Rev. Monsignor Nelson H. Baker, is dead at her home, 200 Bidwell parkway.
       Mrs. Baker was born in Utica and came to Buffalo in her childhood, receiving her education here. She was a graduate of the old Central High school. She married Mr. Baker who was for many years engaged in the real estate business with the Victory Hill company here until his death about four years ago.
       She is survived by her five children, Nelson M., George E., Frances A., Lewis H. Baker and Mrs. William L. Seligman. The funeral will be held Friday, with interment in Forest Lawn.

The funeral will take place from the residence of her daughter, 200 Bidwell parkway, Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Friends are invited to attend.
