• Catherine Griffiths was born on 26 January 1875 in St. Nicholas, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
• She married John Schrock on 9 December 1895 in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, with Rev. H. A. Keyser officiating.
• John Schrock and Catherine Griffiths appeared in the US federal census of 1 April 1930 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at 1612 Main street. Other members of the household included Evelyn S. Schrock. Also in the househod was grandson Robert Channing (age 5.)
• Catherine Griffiths died on 7 July 1935 at age 60 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at 1234 Hyde Park Boulevard.
• John Schrock became a widower at her death.
• She was interred at Mahanoy City, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
• The following appeared on 8 July 1935 in The Niagara Falls Gazette: Mrs. Catherine Schrock, 59 years old, wife of John Schrock, 1234 Hyde Park boulevard, died at her home at 8 o'clock last night, after an illness of several years. Mrs. Schrock had been a resident of this city for the past 40 years.
       Surviving her, besides her husband, are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Meltz, of this city; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Richardson, of Philadelphia; Mrs. Fred Seams and Mrs. John Thomas, of Reading, Pa; two brothers, Grif Griffith, of Norristown, Pa., and Jenkins Griffith of Mahanoy City, Pa.
       The funeral will be held from the Cornell and Daggett funeral chapel, 1617 Main street, at 3 p. m. today, with interment in Mahanoy City, Pa.
       Mrs. Schrock was a member of the ladies' auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.
