  • The following appeared on 5 March 1951 in the Buffalo Courier-Express: Mr. and Mrs. Howard Teeling Dunn of Bird Ave. announce that the marriage of their daughter, Jean Dunn Richert. to Raymond Allen Dearlove, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Dearlove of West Utica St., took place Friday evening, February 23d, at North Presbyterian Church. The newlyweds are now at home at 611 Forest Ave.

  • The following appeared on 22 January 1994 in The Buffalo News: A private funeral service for Raymond A. Dearlove, 65, a
    financial reporter for the former Buffalo Courier-Express, will be held today in Las Cruces, N.M., where he had lived in retirement for several years.
         He died Thursday (Jan. 20, 1994) in Las Cruces.
         Dearlove worked for the Courier from about 1960 to 1982, when he retired a few months before the paper ceased publication. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, and worked for the Riverside Review and the Grand Island Dispatch, where he was managing editor, before joining the Courier.
         A Buffalo native, he was a graduate of Lafayette High School and attended the University of Buffalo.
         He lived on Grand Island and in Amherst before retiring, first to California, then to Las Cruces.
