  • The following appeared on 12 December 1915 in The Topeka Daily Capital: Mrs. John L. McClintock, 78 years old, died at her home, 2000 Buchanan street, Friday night. Mrs. McClintock had been in her usual health and her death, entirely unexpected, was due probably to heart failure. She had been a resident of Topeka for thirty-three years. She leaves a husband, John L. McClintock, and three children, Mrs. W. H. McCoy, of Fairbury, Neb., O. P. M. McClintock and W. S. McClintock, of Topeka. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 10 o'clock from Penwell's chapel. Burial will be in Topeka cemetery.
