• Minnie Bell Bush was born on 23 April 1875 in Springfield, Elgin County, Ontario, Canada.
• She married Oliver F. Crossett, son of Abigail (?), circa September 1889 in Tillsonburg, Oxford County, Ontario, Canada.
• Oliver F. Crossett and Minnie Bell Bush appeared in the US federal census of 1 January 1920 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at 484 Nineteenth Street. Other members of the household included Ada Pearl Crossett. Also in the household were sons Roy (age 16) and Desmond (8), and daughter and son-in-law Violet (22) and Albert Parrott (25).
• Minnie Bell Bush became a widow at the 1 June 1942 death of her husband Oliver F. Crossett.
• The following appeared on 2 June 1942 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Stricken suddenly ill in Detroit yesterday, Oliver F. Crossett, 72 years old, of 1160 Whitney avenue, died a short time after he was rushed to a hospital. He was visiting a brother-in-law, Charles H. Bush, at the time. Members of his family here had not learned the cause of his death today.
       A native of Canada, Mr. Crossett had resided here for 30 years. He was recently employed by the city. Surviving him are his wife, Mrs. Minnie D. Crossett, four daughters, Mrs. Colonel W. Ball, Mrs. Howard F. Rieger, Mrs. Fred Shrimpton and Mrs. Gilbert Hill, and a son, Roy Crossett, all of this city, another son, L. Desmond Crossett, of the Town of Lewiston, and a sister, Mrs. James Jamieson, of St. Thomas, Ont.
       Funeral services will be held at the Hardison and Beatty chapel at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
• Minnie Bell Bush died on 7 July 1962 at age 87 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York.
• She was interred at Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston, Niagara County, New York.
• The following appeared in the Niagara Falls Gazette: [Died] Minnie Belle Crossett, in this city July 7, 1962. Mother of Mrs. Colonel W. (Sylvia) Ball, Albion, N. Y., Mrs. Norman (Pearl) Wood, Tillsonburg, Ont., Mrs. Fred (Violet) Shrimpton, Mrs. Gilbert (Ruby) Hill, Roy B. and L. Desmond Crossett, all of this city. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. Funeral services Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Gridley Funeral Home, Inc., 750 Main St., the Rev. Myrtus C. Rice officiating. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery.
