- Jeanette Olga Schleisinger was born on 2 September 1881 in Niagara County, New York.
- She was baptized/christened on 29 October 1881 at Zion Lutheran Church in Niagara, Niagara County, New York, sponsored by Jacob Ruopp Kelberer. Other sponsors were Janette Bengenheimer, and Cathr. Stegmeier of Tonawanda.
- The following appeared on 21 June 1899 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Miss Jennie Schleisinger of North Main Street, who is a student of Loretto Convent, is home for the summer holidays.
- The following appeared on 29 January 1903 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Miss Jennie O. Schleisinger of Main Street has returned from St. Catharines where she has been visiting her mother Mrs. A. Schleisinger, who is sojourning at The Welland for her health. Miss Florence R. Schleisinger is now with her mother.
- She married James Bernard Martin, son of James Martin and Catherine (?), on 17 October 1906 in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, New York, at St. Mary's Church.
- The following appeared on 17 October 1906 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: The rectory of St. Mary's church was the scene of a very pretty wedding this morning when Miss Jeanette O. Schleisinger became the wife of Mr. James B. Martin, only the members of the immediate family being present. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Flora Schleisinger as maid of honor, while Mr. J. Gregory Martin, a brother of the groom, acted as best man.
The bride looked beautiful in her traveling suit of brown broadcloth with hat to match. The maid of honor was dressed in white and wore a white picture hat. Immediately following the service the party was driven to the home of the bride, No. 1506 Ontario avenue, where a wedding breakfast was served.
The various rooms were tastily [=sic] decorated, the color scheme being pink and green.
Mr. and Mrs. Martin left this afternoon for a trip to New York, Boston, Lake Placid and other eastern points. They will be at home to their many friends after November 1st at Buffalo.
The bride is one of the most popular young ladies of the city and is the daughter of Mrs. Anna Schleisinger of No. 1506 Ontario avenue. Mr. Martin was for a long time the ticket agent of the New York Central at the local office, but for a year past has been in Buffalo where he is the chief clerk for Harry Parry, general passenger agent of the New York Central. - She and James Bernard Martin witnessed the marriage of Flora Ruth Schleisinger and Charles E. Haeberle on 21 July 1914 in Rochester, New York; by license issued the same day in Monroe County, with clergyman C. Trebert officiating.
- She was a sponsor at the baptism/christening of Carl Edward Haeberle on 29 February 1916 at Zion Lutheran Church in Niagara, New York.
- The following appeared on 28 February 1916 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: [Died] In this city at Memorial hospital, Monday, Feb. 28, Flora Schliesinger Haeberle, aged 30 years, wife of Charles E. Haeberle; besides her husband she leaves an infant son, her grandmother, Mrs. John Roupp, of 723 Pierce avenue, and one sister, Mrs. James B. Martin of Rochester, N. Y. Funeral will be held from the family home, 1911 Tenth street, Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, Rev. Herman Brezing of German Lutheran church officiating; interment in Mausoleum in Oakwood cemetery.
- James Bernard Martin registered for the draft on 12 September 1918 while living with his wife Jeanette at 1960 St. Paul in Rochester, employed there as a railroad agent by New York Central Railroad at 20 State Street.

- The following appeared on 12 May 1941 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: Mrs. Jeanette Martin, wife of James B. Martin, of Rochester, N.Y., a native of this city, died yesterday in Rochester. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday from 213 Fourth street, this city, with burial in Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was formerly Miss Jeanette Schleisinger, daughter of early north end residents of this city. Her husband was formerly New York Central city passenger agent here, removing to Rochester about 18 years ago to occupy the same position there. Besides her hsband, she is survived by one nephew, Carl Haeberle, of this city. - The following appeared on 24 December 1956 in the Niagara Falls Gazette: (Lockport) A Niagara Falls woman has been named executrix in the estates of both her brother and sister, according to records filed in the office of the County Judge and Surrogate Frank J. Kronenberg.
She is Rosalie M. Martin, 213 Fourth St., named executrix in the will of a sister, Agnes M. martin, who died Aug. 22, 1954, and in the will of her brother, James B. Martin, who died March 20, 1956.
Both former Niagara Falls residents left estates valued nominally at upwards of $2,000. Sole distributees in both estates is the executrix and a nephew, J. Nelson Martin of Batavia. The sister's will was dated Jan. 29,1949.
By will of Aug. 31, 1953 Jamees B. Martin, left six persons residing in Brockport and Rochester $50 each for acting as blood donors "at the time of the last illness of my deceased wife, Jeanette O. Martin" who died in 941. Mrs. R. C. Cooper, Brockport, who arranged for the donors, was also left $50.
